HSC ADULT SOCCER LEAGUE SPRING 2026 REGISTRATION IS OPEN – CLOSES MARCH 21

 

*There are 2 leagues* – 

1. 18+ (Co-ed Division for any player 18 and older)

2. 30+ (Co-ed Division for any player 30 and older)

      *If you are 30 or older you can play in either league, under 30 just can not play in the older league*

      *must have turned 18 by 4/1/26 to play*

 

League Details:

-Register as a team.  Team Captain will send out invites/codes to their players

-If you are an individual wanting to play please email [email protected] - this will put you on a list if any teams need more players

-$70 fee per player 

-Games will tentatively start 4/1 - total of 8 games.   Games will be played on Wednesday nights (start times will vary from 6:30-8:30 pm)

-7v7 (includes GK) small sided

-Rosters minimum size 9 players and will include a minimum of 2 females. one or more female on the field at all times, if you do not have a female on the field you play a man down

*if you do not have a full team (9 players, 2 females)registered by 3/21 you are NOT guaranteed a team or to play*

- Registration closes 3/21

- ALL players MUST be registered – teams will be suspended from play if you have an unregistered player on the field

-Teams are first come first serve as captains register, please do not register as a captain if you are not able to field a full team of at least 9 players

HSC Adult Coed Soccer League.
18+ years of age. All players must be registered in the league and play on their assigned rosters. (Only
exception is a team may borrower a registered female from their division to have 1 female player or have a 2nd female in
case of injury / relief of the other female)

*If an unregistered player is on the field - that game will end in an automatic forfeit, the team will play a player down the next game, and subject to further penalty by HSC.*

FIFA rules will apply with certain exceptions.
1). Number of players
a) Match will be 7v7. Consist of 6 field players and a goalkeeper. A minimum of 5 players (one
goalkeeper and 4 field players) are required for a game to begin or continue.
b) A maximum of 6 male players and a minimum of one female should remain on the field at all
times (in case of no female or female injury - no male player will be substituted for the female)

2) Game Play
a) The home team (listed first on the schedule) will be responsible to change if there is a jersey conflict.
b) Balls that cross the sideline will be restarted with an indirect kick from the spot the ball traveled out
of touch. Closest defender must back up 5 yards from ball being played in.
c) Goal kicks will be played from anywhere on the end line.
d) Each game will consist of two 25 ‐minute halves with 5 minute halftime.
e) Substitutions for both teams may be made on the fly, from midline ONLY. The player coming off must
leave the field before the substitute may enter.
f) Goalkeepers may not punt or drop kick the ball (results in an indirect free kick from the spot the
goalkeeper released the ball).  The ball is live when the goalkeeper releases it from his/her hands.   
g) The distance an opposing team must yield on a free kick is 8 yards.
h) The offside rule does not apply. Note: (No Camping Rule) Offensive player is not allowed to position
themselves inside the Goalie Box until the offensive team has possession of the ball inside the final 1/3
(Break-out line)
i) Start game, start half and starts after scores are all Indirect – Can Not Score off the first touch.
j) SLIDE TACKLES ARE PROHIBITED (results in YELLOW card and an indirect free kick from spot of the
foul)
k) A player must sit out for 5 minutes if issued a yellow card and the opposing team will have a “power
play” until the 5 minute period has expired or until the opposing team scores a goal.
l) Penalty Kicks will be taken 8 yards off the goal line. All players except the goalkeeper will stand 8 yards
from the kicker until the kick is taken. Penalty Kicks are at the discretion of the referee and given if feels
the defenders foul took away a scoring chance. Handball result in a PK also at the discretion of referee.
m) Games with a tie score after regulation will remain a TIE.
n) Shin guards are required
o)Referees will card due to foul language 
p) Referees will check every players ID’s during each game

3) Suspensions - A red card will result in suspension of next game. Any player (or coach) removed from a
game by a referee for any reason may be suspended by the League Commissioner from further league play. 

Any yellow or red card will be submitted to the HSC disciplinary board, further punishment may be enforced at their discretion. If the disciplinary board issues a punishment the player must submit an official appeal to move forward with a hearing.
